  • A teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • A quarter of a cup of blossom water.

How to prepare:

  1. Wash the meat and cut it into small cubes and put it in a saucepan on the fire with water, ghee and sugar.
  2. Add cinnamon and dried grapes to the mixture and simmer for half an hour.
  3. Add the dried apricots and the peeled apple, then continue cooking for twenty minutes, until thickened.
  4. Add the rose water and let it boil gluten, then remove it from the heat and serve hot.

Sweet Tagine with Meat and Almonds

the components:

  • 250 grams of dried prunes.
  • 100 grams of beef.
  • A cup of crusty bread, crushed and thin.
  • A cup of finely ground almonds.
  • a cup of sugar.
  • Half a cup of butter.
  • 4 eggs
  • a tablespoon of yeast;
  • A tablespoon of grated vanilla or lemon.

  • Soft cinnamon.
  • A cup of rose water.
  • Half a cup of water.
  • Half a cup of sliced ​​almonds.
  • A cup of sugar, three tablespoons of lemon juice, and three cups of water for the syrup.

How to prepare:

  1. Put a saucepan on the fire with butter and onions, and stir until the onions take a golden color.
  2. Add the minced meat, cinnamon and salt, leave the mixture on a low heat, then add the water and leave them until the meat is cooked.
  3. Add the dried plums after making sure the meat is done.
  4. Add sugar and orange blossom water to the meat mixture until it thickens.
  5. Melt butter and put the ground almonds and bread in it, and put them together.
  6. Gradually add the eggs one at a time to the bread, then add the yeast and vanilla.
  7. Pour the mixture into a tray, perforated from the inside, well greased with butter or ghee, and put it in the oven at a temperature of 180 ° C, for a quarter of an hour.
  8. Pour cold syrup on the tray as soon as it is removed from the oven.
  9. Leave the tray for two hours to absorb the syrup and turn it on a serving plate.
  10. Put the meat and prune mixture in the gap in the middle.
  11. Fry the almonds and then sprinkled on the face of the cake.
