How to make hawawshi dough

Dough Ingredients:

  • Three cups of flour.
  • A cup of warm water.
  • Quarter cup of corn oil.
  • A tablespoon of yeast.
  • a tablespoon of sugar.
  • A small pinch of coriander.

Filling Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of minced meat.
  • A large onion.
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • A large tomato.
  • 2 green peppers.
  • A teaspoon of mustard.
  • quarter tea spoon of black Peper.
  • A teaspoon of mixed spice.
  • Half a bunch of parsley.
  • Teaspoon salt.

How to prepare:

  1. Take a bowl and knead the dough ingredients in it completely, then set it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the onion, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
  3. Chop the parsley and put the meat on it and mix well in the mortar or food processor, so that it is easy to spread on the dough.
  4. Take a piece of the dough that you have prepared and sprinkle some flour on the marble and roll the dough over it.
  5. Put the dough in the grill tray and put a layer of meat on top of it that is less than the area of ​​the dough.
  6. Take another piece of dough the size of the first piece and spread it with the dough broth and place it on top of the meat layer.
  7. Close the edges of the dough by lifting them to the top and pulling them together, so that they do not open during the grilling process.
  8. Put the dough in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius, and leave it until it is done.

How to prepare chicken hawawshi

the components:

  • 200 gm chicken breast fillet.
  • Arabic bread.
  • Half a cup of mushrooms.
  • One chopped onion.
  • Half a cup of olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt, pepper and cumin.
  • A teaspoon of mustard.
  • A teaspoon of thyme.

How to prepare:

  1. Bring the electric mixer and put the onions, chopped chicken breasts and mushrooms and mix well.
  2. Put the mixture in a dish and add the pepper mixture, chili, garlic, tomatoes, cumin, lemon, parsley and salt.
  3. Put a frying pan on the fire and put the previous mixture until it is half cooked.
  4. Open the bread from any side and put an amount of the mixture in it.
  5. Drizzle a little olive oil on top and bottom of each loaf of bread.
  6. Put the bread on the oven grill and leave it until it is done and served hot.
