Chicken puff pastry tray

the components:

  • Two packets of puff pastry dough.
  • Three pieces of chicken breast fillet.
  • Two cups of cooking cream.
  • Green sweet pepper, finely chopped.
  • Two chopped carrots.
  • chopped onion
  • Half a cup of chopped mushrooms.
  • One egg yolk.
  • Two teaspoons of black pepper.
  • Two tablespoons of soft butter.
  • Two tablespoons of white flour.
  • Two cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • A cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • A tablespoon of liquid milk.
  • Laurel leaf.
  • Two teaspoons of salt.

How to prepare:

  1. Put a pot on the fire with a little vegetable oil and put the chicken breasts in it.
  2. Add chopped onion, bay leaf, salt, black pepper and my heart a little.
  3. Add enough water to completely submerge the chicken.
  4. Leave the pot on the fire until the chicken is cooked.
  5. Remove the chicken pieces from the pot and cut them into small squares and set them aside.
  6. Put a large saucepan on the fire and put the butter in it, then add the green pepper and my heart well.
  7. Add the carrots and stir until the ingredients become soft.
  8. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and stir gently, then add a teaspoon of salt and black pepper.
  9. Stir the ingredients, then add a cup of boiled chicken broth and leave the mixture on the fire until it becomes thick.
  10. Add the cooking cream, stir well and let the mixture boil.
  11. Add the mozzarella cheese and my heart, then add half the amount of cheddar cheese and leave the filling aside until it cools.
  12. Roll out the first piece of puff pastry with a rolling pin on a table sprinkled with flour.
  13. Put the dough in a tray, then pour the filling and flatten it over the dough.
  14. Roll out the second dough from the puff pastry, then cut it lengthwise until you have longitudinal rectangles, put them on the face of the tray until the shape of a net is formed
  15. Bring a bowl and whisk the eggs and milk in it, stir with a fork, then use a small brush and brush the tray with the mixture.
  16. Put the tray in the oven and leave it for half an hour, until its face turns golden brown and serve hot.
